Up until a few years ago, I didn’t really understand the difference between confidence and self-confidence. I thought they were one and the same. However, once I learned the difference, my life changed.
Self-confidence is not about being perfect or never making mistakes. It's about trusting ourselves and our abilities, even in the face of challenges and setbacks. By cultivating self-confidence, we can live more fulfilling lives and pursue our goals with courage and determination.
The truth is that in the end, we all only have one life here on earth. So, why not live it to the fullest?

Episode 76 - The Waves of Emotion
On this week's episode, I want to share something that I recently taught in a presentation I did. This is something that I have addressed on this podcast but I believe it is so important to understand that it is worth repeating.
Understanding this one thing has made such a difference in my life. I want to share a simple way to feel something different when you want to.
There are so many things that happen in our lives that seem to have the ability to bring us into waves of emotion. We can get caught up in these waves feeling like we are being tossed about without any control.
What if this isn't how it has to be?

Episode 75 - Connection
In today’s episode, I wanted to spend some time talking about connection. One of the main reasons I decided to do a retreat was to provide an opportunity for women to connect–to connect with themselves, with other women, and with God.
In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to lose sight of the importance of human connection. We're constantly on our phones, our laptops, our tablets, all in the name of staying connected. But are we really connecting?

Episode 74 - Emotional Adulthood
In this week's episode, I am talking about emotional maturity.
I didn’t learn about emotional adulthood when I was growing up. There wasn’t a class in high school or college that I could take to become an emotional adult. I didn’t know that I had the ability to think about my thinking. I didn’t know that I could choose what I thought or how I felt at any given moment, no matter what the people around me were doing. If I had known this, I would have saved myself a lot of suffering.
So that is why I do what I do now. I want to show people what their life could look like if they knew that they have the ability to create a life of purpose and meaning and this is partly done by taking responsibility for your thoughts, feelings and actions.

It is the idea of possibility.
The idea that something that is possible–something that can be done, achieved or realized.
It refers to a situation or circumstance that has the potential or capability to happen, exist, or be true.
It may also refer to something that is not certain, but that has a chance of occurring or happening.
The concept of possibility is often used to describe a range of options or alternatives that are available to someone or something, or to describe the potential for a particular outcome or result.
The possibilities are endless!

This week's episode is an answer to a questions from one of my listeners. Many of us are addicted to getting the approval of others. We tend to validate our own worth based on the opinions of others, and this can become problematic when we don't get the approval we crave or when someone is upset with us.
