ON THE BLOG

SELF-LOVE

Last week's blog post addressed what I call the BIG FAT LIE of believing that human value, lovability, or worth is somehow earned or varies from person to person.

I want to reiterate this point because it is so important. You are 100% lovable, valuable, and worthy as you are because you were born with these qualities as a CHILD OF GOD!

One way to reinforce this truth is by strengthening your relationship with yourself through self-love. This doesn't mean putting yourself above others or thinking you're better than anyone else. It's about treating yourself with the same kindness, respect, and care that you would offer a good friend.

Practicing self-love helps you recognize your worth and take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It also strengthens the relationship you have with yourself and helps you build stronger relationships with others.

In my latest podcast episode, I dive into 5 ways to help you build greater self-love. These include practicing the belief that you are an amazing child of God, accepting yourself as you are while recognizing your strengths and weaknesses, embracing curiosity to evolve and grow, celebrating your wins, and creating a joy list of activities that bring you happiness.

Ultimately, self-love is about recognizing your own worth and treating yourself with the kindness and respect that you deserve. I invite you to take some time today to reflect on how you can practice self-love in your own life and start making small changes towards a happier, healthier you.
