Thoughtful Thursday & Merry Christmas

Hello friends!

My Thoughtful Thursday finds you a day late this week.

I am currently on a ski vacation with some of my family.

We spent a couple of days skiing together here in Canada.

But a couple of days ago, my family members that are on vacation with me left for an extra backcountry skiing adventure without me.

I have the hotel room to myself until this evening.

It has been amazing.

I have spent time writing, watching movies, and even sleeping in.

Doing whatever I wanted to do.

Finding time to be alone with ourselves can be healing and rejuvenating.

It is so easy to go, go, go especially this time of year.

It is the Friday before Christmas and you probably still have things to get done.

But I want to invite you to find time to be with you, even if it is only for 10 minutes.

Put your hands on your heart and take a deep breathe and be with you.

Remind yourself that you are amazing and that you are rockin' it, even if you don't get everything done.

Christmas is going to be here whether you get your to-do list finished or not.

But it isn't about the lists or the gifts or the food anyway.

It is about love.

The love of the Savior and the love for our fellow man.

How can you show more love to yourself, others, and God today?

Is there something that you can take off of your list?

For me, it was allowing myself to send my email out a day later than I usually do.

Thank you so much for being here.

I am so grateful for you.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas surrounded by your loved ones.

Merry Christmas and have a joyful weekend!
