Thoughtful Thursday & A New Chapter

Hello friends!

I remember when my youngest daughter was starting her senior year in high school and all of our other four children had moved out of our home.

We were one year away from empty-nesting.

Feeling lost, I wondered what my purpose was.

Up to this point, I had spent more of my life as a wife and mother than not.

Now what?

I don't really remember hearing about what came next or I just hadn't paid attention.

So, there I was looking toward the unknown, unsure of where I fit in all of it.

Wondering if all that was left was the end.

However, over the next few years, I came to realize that it wasn't the end.

It was just a new season.

A new chapter.

Here are 5 things I have learned from this experience.

  1. There are more opportunities and experiences just waiting for me in every season.

  2. It really isn't about knowing what is coming next or how it all works out but having faith and fun along the way.

  3. It is never too late to write something wonderful into my life's story because every chapter is important.

  4. When I allow my Savior to join me in the creation process, my story is more beautiful than I could ever imagine.

  5. There is no downside in believing that the best is yet to come.

Instead of believing your story is over, I invite you to consider what else is possible.

Now go write something amazing!
