Thoughtful Thursday & Obstacles

I am a certified faith-based life coach. I specialized in helping mid-life women and young adults of faith to create greater connection with themselves, others, and God. Helping them to become the creator of a life they love.

Do you find yourself facing obstacles between you and your goal?

Believing that they are standing in the way of you reaching your dream result.

I want to tell you something.

The obstacles aren't the problem at all.

They can actually be the best way for you to learn how to be more intentional in your life and in reaching your goal.

These obstacles teach your brain how to think and plan ahead of time.

With purpose.

Developing this skill is a game changer.

It allows you to face these obstacles head on with a plan instead of with a default reaction like giving up, justification, or buffering in ways that don't serve you.

Here are 3 steps to help you as you work towards your dream goal.

First, list everything that you can do to make this dream come true.  Include the things you need to learn, things you need to complete, and the daily activities you will need to commit to do.

Second, list every reason why this won't work.  Write down every obstacle that you believe is standing in the way of achieving what you desire.

Third, for every obstacle that you have listed, come up with strategies.  Some may just be questioning your thoughts and beliefs and finding alternate thoughts.  Some are actions that will need to be planned for and committed to on the calendar.  And some of them are simply lies that you just need to release and let go of.

Applying this process will empower you to find real solutions to your problems.

Give yourself the gift of freedom from decision fatigue and overwhelm by strategizing for success.

Give it a try!
